CHICOT
This is a completed work inspired by the cypress trees on Lake Chicot. I believe half of my early life was spent on a boat. I have fond memories of cruising down swampy bayous with trees growing on either side and feeling like I was in a jungle. Snakes would surface on the water and the noise of bugs and birds chattering away made the place vibrate with life. No wonder Xochimilco felt like home when I was on the boat cruising through the ancient canals of Mexico.
